Logo Identity Proposal

A federation mark built to rise with the game.

Vietnamese basketball moves with a different rhythm now: faster, more visible, and carried by a larger community. QART's logo proposal brings the lotus, flame, and familiar VBF initials into one compact emblem with the energy to live on jerseys, courtside graphics, broadcasts, and everyday fan culture.

The Challenge

Make heritage feel alive at game speed.

The new mark needed to recognize VBF's existing presence while giving the federation a more contemporary voice. It had to carry Vietnamese cultural meaning without becoming decorative, and stay clear when it shrinks from a stadium banner to a social avatar.

The Solution

Lotus, flame, and VBF in one moving form.

The lotus introduces resilience and cultural recognition. The flame brings heat, ambition, and motion. A circular structure keeps the symbol unified, while VBF at the center preserves a familiar point of recognition. Red and yellow give the identity immediate visibility across sports media and merchandise.

The Process

Build the mark from what people already feel.

The work began with the federation's existing initials and the visual language of Vietnam. Form studies tested how the lotus and flame could overlap without becoming literal. The final direction was refined for contrast, legibility, and a silhouette that remains recognizable at every scale.
