Xeen Pham

Pham Cong Xeen, born in 1994, is a Ho Chi Minh City based artist trained in silk painting at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts. Working primarily with a wet on wet oil technique, his most recent exhibition, “AI, Ở ĐÂU, KHI NÀO,” grew from the quiet hours of caring for his father after a stroke and vision loss.

Through softened edges, restrained color, and attentive light, he turns ordinary moments into intimate studies of time, tenderness, and resilience. After completing the work that anchored that exhibition, he paused his practice and stepped back from making art. As of 2025, he has returned to the studio and the wider art community, exploring a decisively different visual language that departs from his earlier approach. Painting remains his path of self inquiry, and each new canvas tests materials and form as he searches for a language that continually renews itself.
